The rail is another webring system which was independently conceived of the webring.org system. The rail is a cool concept which the organizers describe as:
"We're building a railroad across the Internet. And all along the railway in both directions, you'll find web sites displaying this shiny little Rail Icon."
The Rail is really one very large webring with lots of sites all tied together. Humans add the sites to the ring, and a robot runs occasionally to be sure the sites still exist and are
still showing the rail icon.
How do you add your site? Just go to The Rail's home page, read, the FAQ, then submit your site. In a few weeks you may be added, providing you meet their criteria.
